‘Calm’ Lemon Balm Glycerate (Alcohol-free)

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is used for calming the nervous system. This is done via its mechanism of action which increases GABA levels in the brain.  Vegetable glycerin is a good alternative solvent for herbal constituent extraction for use with alcohol-adverse customers, including children and seniors.

Actions: Anxiolytic, Sedative, Appetite stimulant, Mild Analgesic, Carminative

Adult dose: 1 dropper as needed to calm restlessness (up to 5x/day)

Children dose: 1 dropper as is necessary to calm restlessness (up to 3x/day), not for children under the age of 5 years old

Herbs:  Lemon balm (dry and fresh leaf)
Vegetable glycerin, citric acid preservative

Ratio 1:2

Cautions: May cause drowsiness, take at least 1 hour away from ADD or ADHD medications, do not take with Synthroid or other thyroid medications

Storage: Refrigerate after opening, expiry is 1-2 years depending on storage and formulation type, the expiry is outlined on the bottle.
